Custom Postcards for Mailers, Invitations and Events
A postcard gets read without being opened. Flyover Print prints custom postcards in full color in five sizes, from 4.25" x 5.5" up to 6" x 9", on bright 80# Gloss Cover card stock as standard, with thicker 12 pt, 14 pt and 16 pt cardstock upgrades. Print one side for handouts and inserts, or both sides for mailers with room for an address. Churches use them for Easter and Christmas invitations, businesses for promotions and grand openings, and event teams for save-the-dates and registration reminders. Order from 25 to 10,000, printed in-house in Highland, Indiana.

Every postcard starts on 80# Gloss Cover, a sturdy card stock with a bright, glossy finish that makes photos and colors pop and keeps big mailings affordable. - Send your design: upload a print-ready file with 1/8" bleed at 350 dpi (free templates are on the upload page), or choose "Let us Design for You" and our art team will reach out to build it with you.
- Approve your proof: you will see a free online proof at checkout.
- We check it and print it: a real person checks your file for size, resolution and setup, then we print and cut your postcards in-house.
- You get your postcards: shipped by UPS Ground anywhere in the U.S., or picked up free at our Highland, Indiana shop. They arrive ready to hand out or mail.

Frequently asked questions
What sizes do your postcards come in?
Five sizes: 4.25" x 5.5", 4" x 6" (our most popular), 5" x 7", 5.5" x 8.5" and 6" x 9". The smaller sizes cost less to print and mail, and the larger sizes give you more room for photos, dates and details.
What paper are your postcards printed on?
Every postcard starts on 80# Gloss Cover, a sturdy card stock with a bright, glossy finish that shows off photos and color. You can upgrade to 12 pt Gloss, 14 pt Uncoated, 14 pt Satin, 16 pt Uncoated or 16 pt Gloss in the calculator above, and the price updates as you choose.
Can we write on our postcards?
Yes, on the uncoated papers. Choose 14 pt or 16 pt Uncoated and any pen or pencil writes cleanly. On the gloss and satin papers, a permanent marker works best and ballpoint ink can smudge before it dries.
Can we mail them without an envelope?
Yes. Postcards mail on their own. USPS charges its lower postcard price for cards up to 4.25" x 6", so our 4" x 6" and 4.25" x 5.5" sizes fit. The 5" x 7", 5.5" x 8.5" and 6" x 9" sizes mail at the letter price, and USPS may add a nonmachinable surcharge for cards that size on a thinner stock. Check with your local post office about postage for your mailing.
Should we print on both sides?
For mailers, yes. Put your design on the front and leave room on the back for your message, the mailing address and postage. Front only works well for handouts, inserts and table cards.
What is the minimum order?
You can order as few as 25 postcards and up to 10,000. The price per card goes down as the quantity goes up. Choose your size, stock and quantity in the calculator above to see your exact price.
How should we set up our file?
Add 1/8" of bleed on every side (a 4" x 6" card is a 4.25" x 6.25" file), keep text at least 1/8" inside the trim, and use 350 dpi images. If you plan to mail them, leave the right half of the back clear for the address and postage. Our Artwork Guidelines walk through bleed, safe zone and Canva setup.
Do you check our file?
Yes. You approve a free online proof at checkout, then a real person checks your file for size, resolution and print setup before it prints. Please double-check spelling, dates, times and addresses on your proof, since we print the text exactly as you send it.
Can you design our postcards?
Yes. Choose "Let us Design for You" when you order and our art department will contact you about your project. Design help starts at $45 and is added to your order. You can also upload your own print-ready file or start from a free template on the upload page.
How fast can we get them?
Choose 5-business-day, 3-business-day or next-business-day production when you order. Production time does not include shipping, so for an event or a mail drop date, add UPS transit time and leave a little cushion. Do you charge for shipping?
Shipping is charged at UPS rates, and UPS Ground ships anywhere in the U.S., free on orders of $49 or more. Need it sooner? 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air upgrades are available. Local pickup at our Highland, Indiana shop is always free.
