Will they work with a lanyard? 

Yes, these volunteer badges will clip on any lanyard easily.  The design includes a slot on top that will fit most lanyard attachments, ID clips, or retractable reels. You can order them to include solid black lanyards. Or, take the look of your ID badges step higher and order a custom volunteer lanyard (we can help you with that, too! Just email us!).   

Can we personalize the name badges?

Yes, personalized name badges are a great idea. Many churches choose this option for volunteer leaders and staff members who have a more permanent role on the team.  Getting this process started is easy!  Just email our art department your artwork art@flyoverprint.com and an Excel or .csv file of the names, and we can handle the rest. You will then receive a proof of each name to ensure everyone likes the setup. Once you approve, we will start printing your name badges in-house, so our team will make sure to handle your order with care.

Is there a setup charge?

Currently, the only additional setup charge is if you need us to design your layout. Other companies charge a fixed setup cost just to process your order. But our online system streamlines the process to reduce costs for you, which saves time on our end, too. If you submit your print-ready file or use our online designer, there’s no setup cost. Are the name badges durable?

Yes, we chose this PVC material precisely because of its durability.  We realize these name badges are an investment. However, choosing a durable material like PVC ensures you won’t have to keep repurchasing the same product due to tearing or ripping. The material is also waterproof, so coffee, tea, orange juice, water, or any drink served at your church coffee bar won’t destroy these name badges. Plus, you can easily clean and disinfect them!

Can we write on the name badges?

Yes!  Keep in mind writing directly on the badge will be permanent. We suggest leaving a white space in your design so you can use a dark sharpie marker to write your volunteers’ names.  Or, you can design your name badge with a black space and use a silver sharpie for a cool look.  If you are looking for a more temporary way to place names on your badges, some churches use white or clear address labels, or even label makers, and apply adhesive stickers. You can then remove the labels easily, allowing you to reuse the volunteer badges over and over.
